Directions to Wilson Commons
Wilson Commons is #39 on the map; it's right next to Rush Rhees Library (with the famous bell tower). The Commons has huge brick and glass walls: you can't miss it. The green arrow indicates a convenient entry point, but there are entrances all around the building. Nearby parking spots are highlighted in green.
Driving directions: Coming from off-campus, turn onto Wilson Blvd. from Elmwood Ave. Make the first right onto Trustee Road, then left onto Intercampus Drive. The Intercampus Drive parking lot is on your right. Also nearby is Library Lot, which you'll find on the left, immediately past the intersection with Library Road.
Parking: free for visitors after 7 p.m. Before 7 p.m., use one of the many metered spots along Wilson Blvd.
Gowen Room
The Gowen Room is a small lecture hall and theater on the second (ground) floor of the Commons. From the main lobby, cross the atrium and look for the black double-doors with white lettering.
Ruth Merrill Center
The Ruth Merrill Center is a lounge on the bottom floor of the building. From the main lobby, take the circular staircase down one floor. As you exit the staircase, the Ruth Merrill Center will be behind you. It's the room with the large glass doors across from the Common Market.
