This week we're moving to the Ruth Merrill Center of Wilson Commons (the place with comfy sofas just across from the Common Market). We'll be brainstorming ideas for upcoming events, field trips, restaurant outings, and other fun stuff for the coming months. There'll be free vegan hors d'oeuvres and snacks to munch on.

Saturday is supposed to be sunny and relatively warm (29°F - woohoo!), so we'll be heading to nearby Mendon Ponds Park to hand-feed the chickadees.
For decades, visitors have been offering sunflower seeds to the black-capped chickadees, who otherwise have a tough time finding food in winter. The birds have grown so tame that they'll land on your outstretched hand.
We'll be leaving from in front of the ITS center at Rush Rhees Library. If you can make it, please RSVP so we can have enough transportation ready.
